With 2016 being the second-warmest year on record and climate change being an increasingly important issue, sustainability has became a priority interest for our business and influences how we operate.
In March 2017, JJ Loughran worked with our friends Bettink Service Team and Beattie Crane Hire to install a V29 Turbine at Core Aggregates.
JJ Loughran were responsible for all electrical design, installation and commissioning works onsite including new 11kV switchgear and cabling, 1000 KVA transformer, associated LV switch boards and G59 protection.
The installation of this turbine at Core Aggregates means that we now use 100% sustainable electricity generated on site. This is something that we are very passionate about an
d proud to say that we can run this site completely from renewable energy.
